Breakfast Beans

Put in a crock-pot and bring to a boil, turn down to low and cook overnight:

1cup split peas
½ cup lima beans
½ cup garbanzo beans
2 tsp. basil
1 ½ tsp. salt
4 cups water
2 bay leaves
½ cup chopped onion

This also makes a great lunch, its not limited to just breakfast, but this is the way my mother fixed it. Enjoy.
